This short documentary about Ice Swimmers was produced by Warren MacCarthy for the amazing Great Big Story team from CNN. Warren MacCarthy also directed and DOP’d the shoot. Marc Degenaar (Camera Operator). They travelled to the Afriski Resort in the majestic mountains of Lesotho, 3050m above sea level. Oxygen is scarce and temperatures typically below freezing. Here, a group of 15 elite swimmers lead by Ram Barkai, compete in one of the most extreme races on earth.
